Tracing its roots back to the year 1968, Jun Jun’s restaurant began as a humble barbecue stand along the old railroad tracks in Dolores, San Fernando. Together, husband and wife, Jose and Anita, conceived the idea of offering their own style of chicken barbecue with the unique sauce that has become one of the most distinct tastes that is unequivocally Kapampangan. Ask around and you will find that many of Pampanga’s locals share many fond memories within the family-friendly walls of Jun Jun’s Restaurant. Celebrations of baptisms, birthdays, graduations and weddings have been countless over these past five decades.
Jose and Anita have always envisioned JunJun’s Restaurant to embody their idea of what they deemed is most important in a food establishment. Their idea was simple: they dreamed of a restaurant where a regular working father and mother can take their family and treat them to simple and delicious food that anyone can afford. Jose and Anita understood the importance of delicious food as the string that binds together every Filipino family at the dining table.
This has always been the drive behind the phenomenal success of Jun Jun’s Restaurant. Initially serving only chicken, pork barbecue, and bibingka from their small barbecue stand along the railroad tracks, Jun Jun’s Restaurant has prospered into a larger establishment (now with multiple branches across Pampanga!). We now offer a menu with a wider selection of food choices, albeit leaving you with the same warm, welcoming dining experience that generations of Kapampangans have come to know and love.
Celebrations of baptisms, birthdays, graduations and weddings have been countless over these past five decades. Reminiscing the delicious food and the warm, friendly, atmosphere of their dining experience keep customers coming back to re-live and create these same memories with their growing families.
